After dodging 4 “alleged” felony charges back in 2005 and a back injury that has nearly disabled him for the past year and a half, Kung Fu Vampire is back with a new album, new video, a super group of professional musicians and a fleet of super producers and guest appearences that could make even the biggest Platinum selling Artist jealous.
Kung Fu is no stranger to success winning best band in silicon valley 3 years in a row and in 2009 as runner up, with sold out shows, frequent trips to the Playboy Mansion and traveling to Vegas for red carpet events. This is an underground artist with an over the top approach, with one of the most unique and captivating live shows ever displayed by a hip hop artist and even being credited with starting the genre Trip Hop with friends from his early 90′s group LSP. in 2010 it is predicted that Kung Fu Vampire will be the single biggest name in the Horrorcore Genre alongside new label mate Mars of Mad Insanity Records.
2009 marks the ten year anniversary of Kung Fu Vampire the Musical artist but of course the entity has been around much much longer. Recently striking a record deal and with many more on the table as well as being fresh off of the Murder After Midnight US Tour with some of the most influential Artists in Hip Hop & Horrorcore “Esham, Mars & Anybody Killa”. On Friday November 13th 2009 you will get the chance to see this band in action on there home turf for the 6th Annual Friday The 13th Masquerade Party at The Blank Club in San Jose, CA. There will be huge give aways for best mask, best costume and best Kung Fu Vampire look a like.
Rumor has it that this is a Video Release Party for the hit song “iCount” produced and written by Kung Fu Vampire.
