JULY 17–Porn star Janine Lindemulder is facing a federal criminal rap for failing to pay about $80,000 in income taxes, according to court records. Lindemulder, 39, was named last month in a misdemeanor information accusing her of stiffing the Internal Revenue Service for taxes due on $350,101 of income in 2004.
The charging document, a copy of which you’ll find below, was filed June 18 in U.S. District Court in Eugene, Oregon. Lindenmulder, who was previously married to motorcycle fabricator (and “Monster Garage” host) Jesse James, was charged under the name Janine Marie James (though the Lindemulder surname was included as her a/k/a). Lindemulder was arraigned Monday on the federal count and released without bail after entering a not guilty plea.
She is scheduled for a September 16 trial before a magistrate judge. Lindemulder, who moved from Oregon to Huntington Beach, California, is one of the porn industry’s most recognizable figures.
Along with starring in hundreds of adult films, Lindemulder has appeared in Howard Stern’s movie “Private Parts” and has dated Motley Crue singer Vince Neil, with whom she appears in a homemade sex tape widely available on the Internet
