TEAM HEARTBREAK PRESENTS: PACIFIC PRESSURE WEST COAST MIXTAPE

Welcome to our West Coast: volatile and ready to enter the stage, mountains meet ocean as rhythms meet rhymes. Canadian hip-hop lives here, and from the earlier days of Red1 and the Rascalz to the newest incarnations of that West Coast sound, Pacific Pressure encompasses it in a cross-section of our cultural and geographical climate.

Team Heartbreak is proud to present the first Canadian West Coast mixtape – an inclusive initiative that hits every team in town, digging deep for that young blood and representing our diverse catalogue of Western rap on a mass scale. Hosted by Red1 and mixed by the master DJ K-Rec, this mixtape carries an embedded message: we’re on the come-up.

The mixtape is available for download, with the option to donate to Battered Women’s Support Services. BWSS work to actualize the elimination of all violence against girls and women, and have been delivering training and education programs to support service providers and to end violence against girls and women for over 30 years.

So what’s not to love? The best of the Canadian West Coast coupled with the strong hearts of the front-line workers. Check out the links below.
